Communication fails when only one person is speaking, and the other person not listening or vice versa.

Sometimes in the midst of a conversation, are we really listening to what the other person is trying to tell us? Or are we so distracted by the things around us that everything falls on deaf ears?

It's the same in a prayer. Sometimes we just keep on talking but how many times do we actually listen? How many times do we stop asking because God just wants us to listen to what He is trying to tell us?

Learn from Samuel, lying down and just listened in the silence when God called him. To say "Speak Lord, for your servant is listening" whenever you hear Him call you in the wilderness.

For the love of chemistry

Do you know why oil form a big round droplet in water?

I once thought that oil interact with each other by hydrophobic interaction. Seems like that's not the case.

Water likes interacting with each other, so they exclude oil.

A fact learnt in CHM361 that I'll never forget. An application of chemistry in our daily lives.

Farewell 2011

Things change, people change; whether we accept it or not.

As I looked back on this very last day of 2011, things happening in my life for the past 21 years had not all been amazing. Despite that, I am very thankful they were the way they were. Both unpleasant and pleasant memories shaped me for who I am now.

For the wonderful things in life, my family and friends, a simple thank you is not enough but I hope it will do for now.

Happy New Year 2012! I hope that everyone will be happy and satisfied, to know when to hold onto and let go of things.

Things change, people change; whether we accept it or not BUT, MEMORIES STAY THE SAME and love always wins.

2011, like any other years, will always remain in my heart.

Goodbye 2011 and hello 2012!
