Toronto...OMG!

I can't believe I'm in Toronto

Toronto...I like this place really much...nice weather. Even the end of summer's colder than the weather you get in Malaysia.

I like the bricky or woody buildings..not much cars around here..lots of pretty flowers. Canadians are friendly too..they greet you whenever you enter the shop...

Sandalwood hotel

Only one shocking thing...there's a law here saying that you shouldn't stand beside the road. I was like "Huh? Is he joking?"...Apparently there's a fine of CAD 150 for standing beside the road when me and Mathew wanted to take a snap of the scenery while waiting for the bus to arrive.

And yeah..the policeman wasn't kidding when I saw this lamp post. Oh yea..normal lamp post..but look again..closer this time...

It says "Automatic Video Surveillance" and right above there's a camera over me..hmm...okay..hmm

I just can't wait to move into the residence..

Packing? Not quite done..yet it's just a few days away..Mixed feelings..I don't quite understand myself now..

Yesterday bought quite a lot of things for Canada including these two tags for my bags..woohoo!

Things to do if you're bored....only a suggestion

It was the dead of the night and I had nothing better to do so I googled a list of 'things to do when you're bored' to see if I could get some inspiration for the days to come. Here's the list which I think is kinda amusing and weird..

1. Blink wildly and then close your eyes really tight for an interesting light show

2. See how long you can hold a note

3. Try to not think about penguins (err...why penguins??)

4. Use your secret mind power

5. Pretend you're a robot

6. Scratch yourself

7. Rate passers by

8. Repeat the same word over and over until it loses its meaning

9. Pinch yourself

10. Try to swallow your tongue

11. Pretend to be a car

12. Get yourself as nauseated as possible

13. Invent a weird twitch

Okay..maybe I should go to sleep...interested anyone??

Once again I felt time flying past me at the speed of light. Here I am again after a week in Penang, Ipoh and KL. In another two week's time I'll be heading to the wonderful country I've been aiming for for the past one year.

Though lethargy is creeping up on me, I really had a wonderful and memorable time in Penang and Ipoh. Soon we'll be going our ways and the usual heartbreaking stuffs are going to happen. Separation is as unavoidable as aging.

Didn't take much photos before the battery went dead but I mananged to grab a few.

Friends buddies...we'll keep in touch!

The Gift

Another great book by Cecilia Ahern - The Gift

Beautifully written and it emphasizes on the appreciation of every moment of your life. Leaves you feeling more appreciative of your family and friends. Time flies and will never turn back so savour every second of your life.

It has a touching ending as well! *Thumbs up*

A special dedication

I don't know what to say when I thought I knew

But all I could do is repeating over and over again the same thing

I could lend my ears but that's all I can do

Hope you feel better

Trust that everything happens for a reason

And the reason is always for the best of us

Time is the best healer and it works :)
