Do you even care?

Birds are screaming,
Winds are howling,
But here I am standing,
Feeling lost and lonely,
I still remember so dearly,
How you hugged me so warmly,
This memory is too much to bear
Do you even care?

I don’t want this to end,
I don’t want to pretend,
The times we have to spend,
Are just brief and temporary,
Your love is just momentary,
Your love is just arbitrary.
Now that we have come to the end
Do you even care?

I love you more than I have ever known,
I love you more than the things I own.
When you praised me for my beauty, I swear I would have flown
But behind me you told her how her eyes sparkle,
This is too much for me to handle, this is mission impossible,
A day without you leaves me feeling terrible,
I bet you have probably forgotten me,
Do you even care?

It was finally clear to me,
That you never care for me,
All you did was making a fool of me,
The once upon a time Eden has vanished
Right before my very eyes, perished
I will stand strong, until I have you vanquished
I won’t cry anymore, I won’t shed more tears
For I now know
You never cared.
