Finally Over!

This long week has finally come to an end.
Yup a very busy week indeed! Macbeth drama presentation, bio quiz, chemistry test and finally macbeth test.. PHEW!

The day (weekends and Deepavali holidays) that I'm waiting for is finally here!!

Rejoice!

But...more assignments coming up.
There's this cpt thing for english, and a culminating task for chemistry. Then there's soundtrack assignment due next thursday and bio quiz the week after next. Not to mention advanced functions test next friday and the advanced functions culminating task too.. The list will never end.
Glad though it's almost December. Now that I mention it the finals are coming up! Arghhh...

Ooh.. I'm taking part in the Terry Fox run which is going to be at the Lake Gardens this 2 November. A lot of Taylorians are going though and hope it'll be fun. Gonna run 2.5km for charity (raising funds for cancer research). Terry Fox was a Canadian who was diagnosed with bone cancer at an early age. After one of his legs got amputated, he had it replaced with a prosthesis. To raise funds for cancer research, he did the 'marathon of hope', running from one city to another in canada to raise as much as he could before he collapsed halfway through the run. His cancer returned, which was found to have spread to his lungs. He died a year later..
To commemorate Terry Fox, the marathon is held in Canada every year. For a video on terry fox, this is a website from youtube that my lecturer showed the other day. A touching one indeed! *sobs*

Drama drama drama

Drama really is a pain in my neck. I'm acting on act 2 scene 4, the part where there's the old man, ross and macduff. Guess which part I'm acting as? Nope not the old man.. luckily not or else I have to croak my voice way low and probably gotta bend myself low..hehe.. Not macduff either.. I'm ross..haha.. well i still have to act like a guy though. No biggie I guess.. only the costumes are causing big problems. Like where on earth in such a short time can i find something that looks like the olden times people..

Next would be my soundtrack assignment. Hmm.. still in the process of looking for songs. Any suggestions anyone? I'm doing act 2. Hehe..

It's the middle of October and i'm rejoicing for it! First semester is almost over. Phewww.. time flies so fast. A lot of things change within this period..Some of which are irreversible, and it stays on for as long as I live.

Another long day

Today is just another long day.

Had my biology test on photosynthesis. Really confusing one. All those questions and answers make my head spinning.

In Chemistry, we did an experiment (more like an activity) on cleaning silver. Pretty clean though but it was a boring one. I kept staring and waiting for the water to boil. And after that staring and waiting for the silver to de-tarnish. Hehe..

In the afternoon there was this EAP (english for academic purposes test). Ooo..don't ask.. I don't even know what crap I'm writing about..hehe

Finished at 6pm and I couldn't get on the last bus (last bus of the evening unless you wanna wait till 9). Luckily I was with Julia and Grace and another guy (Sorry i dunno your name!!) hehe.. so we took rapid kl.. not a good idea on a rainy AND windy day.. I was wet and trembling after the bus dropped us off at mydin an hour after we boarded the bus. And yeah..it was peak time so we had to stand AND SQUEEZE while we were in the bus so now I had a backache..yikes..

So now I'm gonna end this terrible day by blogging.. hope tommorrow will be a shiny day..

Cool shoes huh? I want a pair of those!! There are new products of the Adbusters foundation I came to know today while I was doing the Canadian project with Suhaila.

Life is unpredictable. Life is full of hypocrites. Life, a big mystery. My Biology lecturer once asked us what we think life is.. I was about to say that life is just a show. Where people don't mean what they say. What seems nice to us will actually hurt us the most. Yeah life is really unpredictable..just like the weather. When you expect it to rain, it'll probably shine and you just troubled yourself by holding an umbrella. The rose on the ground looks pretty but who knows that its thorns could be prickly. Life is just the same. People hide, feelings shown are merely the opposite. As I look around me today, I see that this world is actually not such a wonderful place to live in anyway. People live to die.. I guess that's the purpose of life. We're just waiting for our deaths.. i'm not trying to be philosophical but it's true.. Some people do not treasure what they have now..I can tell you that 8/10 people in this world are like that. They cry they regret when their loved ones die. What's the use anyway?? Just appreciate life as you have it now..appreciate those who care for you. For guys who have partners now, eventhough she might not be your lifetime partner, treasure her for what she is. Don't break her heart..don't you ever try to. You never know what you're missing in your life until it really happens. Children treasure your parents for their love is the greatest. Live life to the fullest while it lasts..

Today has been a long day with all the tests and quizzes lifted off your shoulders you feel so free.

Well not for long. Biology test is coming up, assignments due dates are coming closer. Drama drama drama...MACBETH!! Not a bad play after all.. only that i kept falling asleep in English class especially during movie time. Hey, can't help it ok? It's dark and cold I'm sure I'm not the only one who fell asleep!

Now i gotta rush my chemistry formal report..due on Monday.. only that I dunno how to get started.. Hehe..

I MISS YOU!!

I MISS MY ROOM!! I accidentally locked my keys inside my room.. so i had to sleep..with wei wei again (just when i want to spend a night in my room). So now I just want to say I MISS YOU!!

A little gathering

Those staying back in Casa (except for Grace), we had a little gathering on 29 September at Liong's unit.. in conjunction with my birthday (a belated one)
